27th October 1978: Apollo Manchester This has been put forward as a date when Joy Division supported the Buzzcocks but they didn't. The Buzzcocks did play and their performance was recorded for their Beating Hearts live album. Subway Sect supported. We have talked to two (unassociated) people who were at the concert and can remember it well. They are both adamant that Joy Division did not perform.
