Joy Division / Warsaw did not play Generation X performed that night
A number of books, starting with Mark Johnson's Ideal For Living, have stated that Warsaw
supported X-Ray Spex as a Saturday matinee on this date - but they are wrong. The band that night was Generation
X.
"Bombsite" fanzine in Liverpool reviewed this gig so it did take place and they also point out that locals
Big In Japan played instead of the original support act London. Warsaw were not on the bill.
