9th June 1978: The Factory I (Russell Club), Manchester With The Tiller Boys     Manchester Evening news Joy Division headlined the fourth concert at Tony Wilson's new club The Factory. All four nights featured on Peter Saville's poster which became the first item in the Factory catalogue - FAC 1. Legend has it the posters actually arrived after the concerts had taken place. Bands were Joy Division (their first performance at the Russell Club) and Tiller Boys as per Peter Saville's famous FAC1 poster design. The vendor made handwritten notes on most of his tickets from this period detailing performing acts and dates (if not shown on retained portion of ticket."
