An Auction of Promises is when people make a promise to donate their time, a skill, or an item. Others then bid to win the items they are interested in. The highest bidder wins. Anyone who cannot be present on the night can submit their bid before the 24th June and bids will be placed on their behalf up to the maximum amount they have stated.

This is a very rare car, with less than a handful in the UK, and certainly the only one with a passenger seat installed. Very fast car indeed, 0-60 mph in less than 3 sec. Engine is a 8.3 litre v10 with approx. 600 bhp. Your driver will be Nadine Geary, a highly capable racing car driver, and the ride will take place at the Castle Combe Circuit. Nadine will discuss timing, safety requirements etc. with the lucky winner.

You may bid in two ways:

Come along on the night and have the fun of bidding in person against your friends and neighbours.
Lots must be paid for on the night, cash or cheques payable to "Response2Route".

OR, if unable to attend in person

Place your bid in a sealed envelope and send it to Karen Thomson at The Weston, 1 Newbridge Road, Lower Weston, Bath BA1 3HE to arrive before 24th June 2010 or you may send your bid
by email to R2RTickets@aol.com

You must clearly state the LOT you are bidding for and the maximum bid you are prepared to make. Include your name, address and telephone number. We will then bid on your behalf on the night and we will contact you afterwards if yours is the highest bid.
Please note that the final auction price and any postage costs that are needed to deliver your winning item to you must be paid by you before we can give or send you your item. We reserve the right to sell the item to the second highest bidder if payment by an absent auction winner isn't received by Friday 2nd July 2010.
